- Dr. P. K. Govind is the visionary founder behind Karthik Foundation, DDNK Private Limited, NKR TV Kannada, and the Head of Kamala Schools and Colleges, among many other initiatives. He has actively participated in public service, contesting as an Independent Candidate in the MLA elections and previously standing for the Corporator Elections.
- His past leadership roles include: State Chairman, Congress Science & Technology Cell State Vice President, JDS State President – Karnataka, All India Newspaper Association of India
- A businessman by nature and an engineer by profession, he continues to lead as the Chairman of Karthik Foundation.
- Through NKR TV Kannada, Dr. Govind aims to showcase the strength, capability, and cultural pride of Kannadigas—proving that a Kannadiga can not only run a satellite GEC network but also lead the entertainment industry with excellence. Standing firmly against the suppression and marginalisation of Kannadigas, he is working towards bringing Kannada identity and culture boldly into the mainstream.
